Location

This third floor property is ideally situated for summer holidays, off peak breaks or golfing vacations. Vilamoura Marina and Falesia beach are only a few minutes walk away, and the main golf courses, Laguna, Pinhall, Old Course and Millennium are just five minutes by car.

You can find supermarkets (the local 'Ali Super' is only 6/7 minutes walk away) and bars within a very short distance; whilst the Marina itself is a maximum of 12/15 minutes walk. The Marina is quiet during the daytime. It’s a beautiful place to enjoy a morning coffee, late breakfast or lazy lunch watching the boats and birds in the harbor. You can hire boats or join deep sea fishing trips. Tour operators also offer trips to various local places of interest There are also a good selection of shops selling, clothes, shoes, handbags, jewellery and china.

Night time is a different story – the Marina comes alive in the evening, it is the hub of the resort with a real cosmopolitan atmosphere. There are a variety of bars and restaurants that serve a wide range of food appealing to all tastes and these are situated around the perimeter of the Marina which offers good evening entertainment. Surrounding the Marina there are a wide variety of hotels, restaurants and bars. There is also a casino, which operates a lively weekend disco, Salsa dancing and hosts visiting entertainers.    

If you prefer a quieter time the beaches are beautiful and stretch along the coast. Sun beds & umbrellas are available at a reasonable cost and there is a beach bar serving food and drinks that has good toilet and shower facilities. Walkers will appreciate the cliffs to the west of the Marina, which are a haven for wild life.

There is a Crazy golf course only 6 minutes walk from the apartment (good family entertainment). If you travel slightly out of Vilamoura (15 minutes by car) you can choose between two excellent water parks. In Almancil you can visit a really fun family Go-Karting facility (about 20 minutes away). Almancil is a quiet village but has a variety of shops and bars, a branch of Barclays Bank and a really excellent supermarket called Apolinia.

Faro is only 25 minutes away and has cinema's and a fine modern shopping centre called Forum Algarve.

If you intend to stay in and around Vilamoura a car is not essential, but if you do decide to hire one, it will allow you to explore the beautiful surrounding Algarve countryside. Places such as Loule, Sans Lourenco and Portimão are well worth a visit. 

You will not be disappointed, Portugal is a beautiful country and it is a place that people return to again and again.
